OUR APPROACH
The Pilates House Heights is a boutique movement studio grounded in the original work of Joseph Pilates
and shaped by years of hands-on teaching experience.
The approach honors the roots of the method while allowing it to evolve — blending strength, control, and
focus with a mindful, present way of moving.
Classes and private sessions are taught with care, clarity, and attention, creating a practice that feels
strong, thoughtful, and sustainable.

From the Founder
Hi, I’m Renata.
I founded The Pilates House Heights as a space for focused, thoughtful movement rooted in the Pilates
method.
I came to Pilates through injury as a runner. Looking for a way to move without pain and build lasting
strength, I discovered a practice that was precise, demanding, and deeply effective. What began as
rehabilitation became something I believed in fully — and continue to study and refine.
My teaching is strongly influenced by the original work of Joseph Pilates. I value precision, control, and
consistency, and I believe meaningful progress comes from attention, repetition, and doing the work well
over time.
Since 2020, I have taught Pilates professionally, including at Equinox, working with a wide range of bodies,
goals, and movement backgrounds. I continue to learn, train, and evolve my approach while staying
grounded in the method.
The work I offer is focused, structured, and supportive. I teach with clarity and intention, creating a practice
that builds strength, awareness, and confidence over time.

In good health,
Renata Oh
